Secondary Water Supply Control

Project background:

With the progress of urbanization, the current decentralized management mode of secondary water supply has been unable to meet the requirements for secondary water supply management, water quality and pressure, and service quality. It is particularly important to implement unified management and monitoring of secondary water supply facilities to ensure the safe and reliable operation.

Project Requirements

In order to understand the real-time operation information of water station, it is necessary to establish a set of remote centralized monitoring system. Aiming at the actual situation , on the basis of the original control system of the pump station,4G network communication technology and IoTs technology are used to realize the data monitoring of each secondary water supply pump house by the monitoring center. Real-time access to the pump room voltage, current, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, frequency converter, motor status and other information, to achieve remote monitoring of the pump room and realize pump station unattended management, improve management efficiency, save manpower, material resources and financial resources.

Our Solution

Toputel's 4G wireless industrial router/gateway is installed in the equipment box of pumping station and connected to pumping station control terminal. Pumping station control terminal connects pumping station data to 4G network through the 4G wireless industrial router/gateway, then transmits the data to water supply dispatching center. The water supply control center can realize the remote management and control of pumping stations and dispatch the water supply. It can also collect the running data of each pumping station, master real-time information.

5. Monitor the opening and position of each electric valve;

6. Monitor inlet pressure, outlet water pressure, outlet water flow, reservoir water level, turbidity, PH value, residual chlorine and other information;

7. Monitor the water level of the sewage pool in the pump room and control sewage pump drainage according to the water level;

8. Automatically/locally/remotely control the working frequency or start-stop state of each pressurized pump, the opening and closing state of the valve etc.;
